What should my child wear?

Swimming costume or trunks, swimming hat and goggles. Modest swimwear, including burkinis, is welcome.

Can parents watch?

Yes. The viewing galleries provide an excellent view of the lessons and are the preferred place for parents and carers to watch.

Not sure which class?

Book an assessment and we'll recommend the most suitable group.

Does my child need goggles?

Yes. We recommend all swimmers wear goggles for comfort and eye protection. Prescription goggles are also available.

Does my child need a swimming hat?

Yes. All swimmers are expected to wear a swimming hat during lessons.

What if my child is nervous?

That's perfectly normal. Our teachers are experienced in helping children settle into lessons at their own pace. In exceptional circumstances, a parent or carer may be invited to remain poolside during the settling-in period.
